TRAINING DATES

Through a variety of sources, the District seeks and obtains financing for training all of our volunteer personnel who wish to become certified Fire Fighters, First Responders or EMT's who agree to participate for a short, specified period of time. We encourage all our personnel to pursue increasingly higher certifications.

We also offer bi-monthly and monthly District training and many of our personnel attend County, State, and Federal training courses. We have established training and reference libraries.

We do all of this so that our personnel are well supported, well trained, safe, knowledgeable, and confident that they can accomplish tasks at hand.

Our coordinated training events with other local agencies ensures an organized response to potential local emergencies.
We encourage you to attend our local training classes so you can determine which position is best suited to your level of interest and commitment.
